The voluntary spirit in an increasingly materialistic world SPIC-MACAY has generated an awareness for Indian classical arts, attained a reputation for excellence and integrity, the support and blessings of our top artistes and established the Lecture- Demonstration format.

SPIC-MACAY organizes three main events in a year –
Orientation – which is introduction of the society to the new students.
Virasat – is a festival comprising performances & workshops in folk & classical arts, literature, crafts, talks, theatre, films & yoga held in different institutions. Lady Irwin College have had the opportunity of attending to great artistes like- Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Smt. Anjolie Ela Menon, Smt. Shubha Mudgal, Pt. Bhajan Saphori, Sh. Aman Ali Bangesh.
Festival - it is held in latter half of the academic year, are formal presentations of several upcoming artistes along with the senior artistes.
